EOPS Dragonfly: Mehndifly

We have called our dragonfly, the Mehndifly or ‘Mehndi’.

Many of the year 5 and 6 children contributed designs and it was hard to pick just one. Aaliyah, Tabbasam and Natasha painted the dragonfly in colours inspired from their individual ideas then added Mendi designs over the top.

Mehndi design is intended to be a symbolic representation of the outer and the inner sun.

The dragonfly can be seen throughout Spring, Summer and the beginning of Autumn.
